We founded The Wine Tailor in 2004 as a part of the Wine Not International franchise system. The winery franchise offered several unique opportunities:
  • This concept is new in the United States, but proven in Canada. U.S. wine consumption continues to increase each year as people are looking for more outlets to learn about wine. This creates an opportunity to get into a new concept that’s based upon a large consumer audience and grow substantially;
  • The Wine Not winemaking systems are based upon professional winery standards and produce quality wine time & again;
  • Wine Not has a strong relationship with the largest winemaking company in the world where all of our quality juices are procured and delivered;
  • Finally, and most importantly, the end product being sold produces a gross margin in excess of 80%, creating a profitable enterprise.
We couldn’t be happier with the system and knowledge that Wine Not International has provided us to get our winery going and help make it successful. We’ve grown from nothing to over a half-million in sales in just 3 years and won about a half-dozen medals from international wine competitions.
